GIG REVIEW: CRADLE OF FILTH & NERVOSA, DREAMLAND MARGATE.

The night kicked off with an electrifying performance by Nervosa, the Brazilian-Greek

thrash/death metal band hailing from São Paulo. The crowd responded enthusiastically,

headbanging and throwing horns in the air as Nervosa delivered ferocious tracks like

Seed of Death — smashing heads and igniting the pit. Their energetic set set a perfect

tone for the evening.

As the lights dimmed, two gigantic skeletons flanking the stage emerged, setting a dark,

gothic atmosphere for the main act. Cradle of Filth opened with To Live Deliciously, a

track from their recent album The Screaming of the Valkyries, immediately immersing

the audience in their signature blend of theatricality and brutality. Dani Filth’s vocals cut

through the air with his unmistakable, unique style, complemented by thrashing guitars

that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats.

The setlist included fan favorites like She is on Fire, Nymphetamine, and culminated

with the haunting Ghost in the Fog, leaving fans exhilarated and craving more. The

band’s commanding presence, combined with the vivid stage setup and Dani’s theatrical

performance, made it a night to remember.

Overall, it was a fantastic evening filled with intense music, dark visuals, and an

enthusiastic crowd. Cradle of Filth proved once again why they remain a cornerstone of

the gothic metal scene.
